About

Leibniz Rechenzentrum (LRZ) operates the Quantum Integration Centre which hosts Alpine Quantum Technologies' ion-trap quantum computer, the first of its kind installed in a computing center as of 2024. LRZ integrates quantum computing resources with high-performance classical computing infrastructure to enable hybrid quantum-classical applications. This pioneering integration model demonstrates how research computing centers can provide users with seamless access to both quantum and classical computing resources through unified infrastructure and workflows.
