ORIENTOM is a South Korean startup founded in 2020 by Alfred Bang (Seung-hyun Bang) who serves as CEO and Chairman of Korea Quantum Industry Association (KQIA), developing application software making quantum computing accessible for financial services. The company collaborates with Yonsei University conducting joint research on applying quantum computing to solve financial problems and advance industrial applications, with Yonsei students working as ORIENTOM interns presenting papers analyzing potential and limitations of quantum financial algorithms. ORIENTOM develops and integrates various financial algorithms including portfolio optimization, risk assessment, derivative pricing, and financial market modeling into financial platforms.
