Qrisp
About
Qrisp is an open-source project coordinated by the Eclipse Foundation developed in Python for creating and compiling quantum algorithms. The platform provides high-level programming abstractions making quantum algorithm development more accessible to developers without deep quantum physics expertise. Qrisp features automatic quantum circuit optimization, resource estimation, and simulation capabilities. The project aims to bridge the gap between high-level algorithm design and low-level quantum circuit implementation. Qrisp supports multiple quantum hardware backends and simulators, providing flexibility for algorithm development and testing. The platform includes libraries for common quantum algorithms and building blocks. Developed with support from German research institutions and funded through European quantum computing initiatives. Active open-source community contributing to Qrisp's development and expanding its capabilities for quantum software engineering.
